Uses the Nursing process to plan, implement, direct and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Works collaboratively with all other disciplines on assigned unit.
Requirements
Current registration in New York State as an RN, Diploma and Licensure required.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
BSN Required.
1 - 2 years Critical Care experience strongly preferred.
1 - 2 years med surg experience preferred.
Ventilator &/or telemetry experience preferred.
Current BLS required
Current ACLS preferred or successful completion of ACLS prior to end of orientation required.
CCRN certification preferred.
Med-Surg certification preferred.
Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills are needed.
