Each weekend has been a big one for Kenny Brooks and his program here in the fall. High-profile 2025 targets have been in and out on visits, and that was no exception this past weekend either. Shelbyville, KY native ZaKiyah Johnson was just one of the top recruits on campus this weekend.
Considering her ties to the city of Louisville and ultimately that ugly red team, it was pretty sweet seeing her in Kentucky blue.
Something about it just felt… right.

Kentucky is one of six programs in Johnson’s top six. The others are LSU, USC, Louisville, Notre Dame and South Carolina.
